It's like 65 dollars. They also have a flat black one for 15 dollars ....

What I want to know is why they bothered putting the Corvette logo on it. Like someone who is in a no-plate state is going to put that on their car!
I don't think they have a choice. That's part of the body isn't it?

Geeez that looks like crap. [/b][/quote]
Nope it's the same as the current car. You have the option of either plate. Those in states requiring front plates will have to buy one or run with no plate. You have to drill three hole in the front bumper to put the plate on .....

they shouldnt be expected to sit and search the countless pages of rabble in hopes that they might find an answer to the question that is plaguing them...
They don't have to search countless pages - there's a "Search" button at the top where you can enter key words to find the answers to your questions.

Did I come off sounding rude? Not my intention. I think a Frequently Asked Questions section is a good idea, and I'm sure others do too. That is all.

I agree about not bashing new people. This forum has always been good about welcoming new members. So what if they ask a repeat question. At least it keeps the board active. I came to this site last summer to learn as much as possible. Now I can share that info with the new people. Just because we know it, doesn't mean everyone should. A lot of these posts are just to post something. Get their feet wet so to speak. Let's give 'em a break and a big warm Barney hug.

I agree. Lets be careful not to pounce on newbies for asking questions we've already discussed.

If you feel like your tired of answering a question, let someone else do it and move to the next thread.

Remember, we were all newbies at one point. Mind you, when the first members joints (including myself), there were only 8 posts so it wasn't that hard to "do a search". hehe.

In Texas you gotta have one in the front and back...and that's where I'm getting mine when I get back there in a few years. The add-on idea looks pretty crappy if you ask me....hmmmmmmm....makes you wonder.

I'm going to avoid putting on the front plate as long as possible (lives in Texas, too).

Lots of people driving their sports cars around here without a front plate. Guess I'll wait until I'm pulled over and given a warning. Front plates = useless IMO.

In CA it's required but about 20% of cars don't have one. I have never kept on my front plate, and have received one fix-it ticket. I attached it with velcro and fake bolt heads, payed the small fee, and took it back off.

From what we're hearing, the Cobra will be the first version with IRS. It will debut around June of 06 as an 07.
