Ford Canada Recall "Driver Side Air Bag Inflator Module

If you have a 2005-2007 Mustang, Ford Canada is sending out a recall notice that they are going to be replacing the "driver side" frontal air bag inflator module. Parts for the driver's side are not yet available but when they are another letter will be sent out advising owners to contact their dealers for repairs. Gee whiz had this same recall for the "passenger" side done in January. You would think that someone at Ford Corporate would have made the decision to do both at the same time.

I would assume similar recall procedures are underway in the USA.

Sounds exactly like the airbag issues in the States, probably is the same thing. Ford is being open ended about the time frame for repair, I'd imagine its the same up there.
