wow! thanks for the info, I heard about family pricing but I figured they wouldn't discount the mustang.

I was starting to look at getting my dad to import one from the states since our dollar was so high but this makes up for any money he would have saved.

No family prices = A-plan., which is better than x-plan. Thats why im going in tomorrow to place my order.
My order:-
Black 07 Gt Coupe. Manual transmission
Shaker 1000
Comfort group
Premium trim
18 inch bullitts
IUP
.
My walk out the door price on family pricing plan comes out to $40,435, .on x-plan this was $42,5554, and the regular pricing was around $46,000
You do the math.
I went to whiteoakford dealership here in toronto but i was NOT impressed with their service!

I know. Average is about 36/37 for a GT Coupe and 40/42 for a GT Vert

I'm shocked the service was bad at Whiteoak, they've been really good to many of the members here.

Its a shame that with the exchange rate, they didn't actually drop prices a bit. I paid much less for my car

WEll, service was quiet dissappointing in my opinion. When i walked in , guy didnt even think i was serious about getting a mustang. Told him i'm a member of TMS and you folks have helped some people out, guy just nods and says, ok, so about the family plan, we can order it for you but if it arrives after august you won't be eligible for the family pricing plan. That just stumped me right there and i told him that doesnt make any sense because if Ford actually thinks they can pull a stunt like this one and get away with it, well let's just say their strategist is doing one hell of a job He said well, that's what he's been told and that's the best he can do. He later calls in his sales manager, and he says the same thing. Told him to start working on the price for me and let me test drive one and since i've heard good things about you folks, if everything works out fine no.s wise, i have no problems placing the order. When i come back from the test drive, we work the nos out and in the end, the price i was quoted was actually $2000 over than what i meantioned earlier, which i was quoted by one of the other dealerships in toronto.
I was kind of dissappointed as i know few of our TMS members here , as Galaxie mentioned have had good dealings with those people. and that's a pretty big dealershp as well. As i was working the no.s out i saw a white GT/CS being rolled off the delivery truck.
You guys have no idea how dissappopinted i was to walk out that door, knowing im being shafted<-- for lack off a better term.
I plan on giving them a call again today, if they can give me the same no.s as im getting from the other dealershipill place the order. The other thing i was being told was that they will problems getting the 18inch bullitts or the fan blades! Not other dealership on toronto here has told me that except for them. Moreover the family pricing plan clearly states the new vehcle has to be ordered OR delivered before August 31st.
Anywho, the saga continues. IN either case i'll have my order placed with a dealership by friday at the latest. I want to deal with people who i can rely on and can count on if i have some service issues.
