Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is a "Foose" mustang? I don't understand the significance. From the pictures and video, it doesn't look very good. In fact, I'd say it looks ricey.

Looks kind of like this Lexus IS he did awhile back.

Foose IS430

Looks like Chip is running out of ideas. He usually has some wild yet classy stuff. This Mustang is one I don't like.

Not a fan of the front grill and not sold on the rims, but the paint and 2 tone interior I like a lot, as well as the engine mod and suspension mods.

Umm, Rod Millen's shop did that car. Are you saying Foose had a hand in the paint job? Because that is vertually all that was done to the exterior.

A "Foose" Mustang is a Mustang designed by Chip Foose (ww.chipfoose.com) -- a very popular and well respected hot rod designer/builder.

In this case, he designed a complete body kit for the car. Together with some FI and suspension mods, it will sold as a complete car (ala Saleen)

O.K. then, all you negative nay-sayers are not allowed to sign-up for the sweepstakes to win the car!

I like it! And if I win it I'll let you know

Whoever wins it coud get a good trade-in on a GT-500

P.S. anyone else getting tired of the Eleanor theme. It's getting played out like Whale Tales on Vanilla Ice 5.0's

Yeah, I am as well.
The only thing I can think of is Unique Performance contracted him to do a modern Eleanor look.

I am still tired of it though.

Other than under the hood, I don't like it. Foose generally does some good stuff... not this time.

BUT... If I won it, I would sell it for a ridiculous amount of money, pay the taxes, then sink the rest of the cash into MY car!!

I agree with you on one thing Doug... your Centerfire is an amazing piece of work.. you would wipe Foose's **** with that design.

Foose Mustang :notnice: Flop Flop
Not liking it one bit, except for the ducktail.

OK I have to say this 1) Wether you like the car or not , this is basicly what I would expect Foose to do. Chip likes a two tone paint job on many of his designs, he likes large Bling bling rims, and remember!!!!!! Chip designed the original "Elenor" for "Gone in 60 Seconds"!! So why would anyone be surprised that he added the little Elenor spots next to the round headlights. I guess thats one of his unique trademarks like it or not.

2) Yes Burningmans Centerfire design is awsome, I wish he could get some of these after market designers to realise simple and clean is better than over done and busy.

3) You have to appreciate the front end lower bumper treatment, though it might look like its smiling , it is much cleaner than most. AND the side lower rocker panel pieces certainly look very much like Burningmans Centerfire design, clean and tucked in nicely.

So though many here dont like the overall design I think there are some good pieces we can get from this car when they become availabe. I want the side rocker panels, and the front lower bumper cover. I think its clean and simple yet agresive. I dont care much for the spotlights next to the head lights, didnt on Elenor and dont on our 05s either. Thats my .03 cents.
