How do you guys drive at night? Headlights + foglights or just headlights?

I like headlights + foglights because it looks most awesome. I don't think it's bothering any other drivers on the road...?

I turn em both on. I'm not sure how legal it is but I've passed several cops and haven't been pulled over. I agree, it looks most awesome!

Haha, cool. Btw, "most awesome" is a bad word filter in action...

I also use both, Only 1 driver has told me (by way of flashing hi-beams) that it was too bright.

Especially looks cool with my Nokya Artic whites

While i don't own an '05, i like seeing them at night with fogs on. They're not bright at all and i like identifying one as it sneaks up on me.

Fogs should be used at night only if there is fog.

My opinion...

If it's wired that way from the factory, it's legal. They should go off when you hit the hi beams.

OK, we'll call them "driving lights" instead. Problem solved.

I use mine whenever I am out in the country and its very dark at the sides of the roads. They are driving lights and shine very low and out to the sides and help very much around corners too. People who flash their lights at you are just trying to be critical thinking you left them on. They don't really blind oncoming traffic. I drive past another Legend Lime every morning whith his on and they are just fine.

I like to turn mine on in the daytime as daytime running lights so other cars can see me coming from the opposite direction and maybe not have a headon with me; this is the alternative since ford does not offer daytime running lights on the car.

I use the fog lights in the daytime as runnng lights also, and both at night. I think they look real good. No body has flashed their lights at me, and no police have pulled me over.

I drive at night with both fogs and headlights. If the sun is just starting to set, I will use fogs only.

I use the Fogs as daytime lamps, and also at night on backroads because of the better dispersion pattern for seeing critters run out of the woods. I'll be changing the stock bulbs out with Silverstar ST9005's (same connector) like I did on my F150. They really light up the woods then!

I do not run both driving lights and fogs, however. I don't have my front license plate installed, and I don't want to give the police a second reason to pull me over!

At night I use fog lights and normal lights.

During the day, if it is darker, but not dark enough....just fog lights.

I've been running both at night but I'm getting tired of oncoming cars flashing me to dim my light. They see four lights and automatically think I have on high beams.

I totally agree. My first night out with my 06, half the cars I passed flashed their brights at me when I had both lights on. I was getting so tired on this after the 5-6th time, I started to flash them once, just to inform them that I didn't have my brights on. End result: fogs lights will go on in fog, and maybe use all lights on during daylight and dusk.
