first time pics (no 56k)

My 06 Mustang GT... supercharged, some cosmetic and performance goodies throughout.

Haven't placed at any car shows yet (been in 4) but there's no bling on the car really. I'm conservative, to a point.

The pics:

Roush side louvers
Visus rear louvers
Sportwing GT500 replica
SHR rear medallion
Corsa exhausts
Painted taillight buckets
Xenon quarter scoops
CDC classic chin spoiler
GT500 Brembos
GT/CS mudflaps
Door welts & grille clothe

Thanks for looking!

Who said conservative was bad. Looks great! I like how the Brembo brakes fill the rims

Thank you all for the comments!

What else could I do to grab someone's attention?

I like to keep it clean and subtle with the badging... I've lost in shows to a GTR500, GT300, BOSS and other "stickercharged" s197s. It kills me but I refuse to make up a name for my car or otherwise cover it in badging.

i have simple badges in lieu of the GT that say 4.6, supercharged.

I would like to do the gt500 fuel pump upgrade, install a saleen watts link w/ 3.90 (or 4.10) to complement my auto tranny, some MAG radiator extensions and a Canton coolant tank next... in no particular order.

But none of those are showy... maybe spread some MGW and UPR billet inside or maybe I'll run two 12" wide gold stripes down the middle

Slap some 26" spinners on and have a sick nasty paint job with colors like orange and lime Haha but seriously...

You could dress up the engine. MGW/Scott Drake stuff. Painted valve covers? Stainless steel hoses? Few suggestions. Strips would be nice. To keep with the simple look your going for I'd go with ghost strips. Something nice a subtle. Hood would go nice also.

Some flat black accents would be sweet. Maybe a superstripe?

Is it just me or does your right tail pipe seem to hang lower?

that's just it-- these aren't shelbys-- just regular GTs. they are home grown or "creative" vinyl decals to make them appear as if they are a special ford package.

GTR500? uh what's that?
GT300? not with a late model GT.
BOSS? not in the s197 playbook either...

its my own personal vendetta and hate coming through. i'm walking a fine line though- at the last show, i overhead a gent remarking about how my factory supercharged mustang this and that...

because of my 4.6 supercharged badge, it's a little misleading. its not a factory emblem, but it looks like it. i'm not trying to pass mine off as a special edition or anything, just putting a fender callout of my engine size and specs.

oh and the right exhaust can does hang a little lower-- i've tried every kind of adjustment on those corsas with no luck. i could try bending and flexing the mounts, but i don't want to mess with $600 exhaust cans. with my luck, i'd bend that mount and hear a *ping* as it snaps off.

You said you adjusted everything but apparently often messing with the H-pipe clamps/mounts will help get the axle backs straight. Have you tried that?

I sure did. Loosened them up and I read that rotating the pipes will help raise/ lower the tips. I gave a good go at it, but I was on my back in a parking lot (no driveway or garage).

I think with more time and maybe a lift, things can magically line up.
