Finnally signed my life away and got it. Since i'm only 20 i wasnt able to get the GT, because of income and the insurance, but this V6 is most awesome. Color and transmission type

V6 Premium
Manual transmission
Black exterior.
Pony package.
Dark charcoal leather interior
Side impact air bags
Tape stripe delete
Dark charcoal IUP
Shaker 500

Definatly an improvement over the grand am. Although i do miss the old car already, i guess thats just part of buying and selling.

Few problems i've noticed, maybe you guys can help me out.
The vinyl boot around the shifter seems to rub agaisnt each other and making noise in the low gears. Anyone else have this? Is it normal?

Whenever i have the air in the car going, i hear a very fast tapping noise, possibly the blower motor, very annoying. Anyone have this?

Here's a picture, but its really bad, i had to use my camcorder which does not have good still picture quality.

The light gentle swooshes from the boot is normal (I have a little hidden 1/2" tear on mine from alot of my abuse).
The intermident clicks is from the magnetic clutch engaging and disengaging the AC compressor. It shouldn't cycle too fast, maybe with about 5-10 sec intervals. Hopefully that's what you are hearing, and around that interval time.
If that's it, then your car is perfect. Looks nice too

I have the shifter noise also in 2nd gear only as well. One of these days I will take it apart and see if there is somethig that can be done about it.

Updated, got the camera from work and took pictures, car's a little dirty now, rained here a few days ago so theres mud all over the road. Going to rain again tomarrow so it would be just a waste of time to wash it.
