Talking Finally a year later, tommorow morning...

...I put the keys in and go.

Saved up for a entire year to get her.....Did all the financial stuff today blah blah....popped hood checked out the whole thing...can't believe it's really here...

I get to put my Flows on tommorow as well as the all the little things piling up on my desk (GT500 pedals, MGW stuff....)

One of my reasons for getting the xpin before I went there. Nothing to negotiate...just handed them my down payment and sign the papers tommorow....it was alot more painless then previously thought....

I had considered the place in Manhatten, but the convience of staying on the island, i just said the hell w/ it....and I finally found out my answer to the remote start....it's this little mini fob, 1/2 the size of a match book w/ a tri-bar pony on it and one button. can't wait to get this thing on the parkway to stretch it's legs.....

Don't forget that with the X-plan, they can't charge you any of their usual fees, such as a doc fee. Just tax, title, and license. My salesman at first charged me the doc fee and they are $400 to $500 around here. I honestly don't think it was on purpose. I got the impression they don't sell a lot of x-plan cars. Anyways, they checked and removed it immediately. The X-plan is great. It was the most pleasant car buying experience I have had!

Great color choice in the alloy ; 2nd in my ranking behind black.

Give us some feedback on the flows once you get them installed.

ill NEVER forget my drive home. sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on the GSP.......AND it was my first time driving a standard shift car. i got my bike so i had an idea of how to drive it. suprisingly i didnt stall out and it was smooth sailin once i got into staten island (yea kinda opened it up the second i got out of the toll booth). when the wheels broke going into 2nd i knew i made the right choice

Signed my name about a dozen times and off i went. Got home put all the little things on and drove over to my mech who popped the flows on in minutes. he's been waiting for me to get the GT as well, says "give it gas outta here I wanna hear you from down the block." I didn't disappoint. The flows rock hard. Gonna put my GT500 pedals on later tonight....

as for the ride home, feels weird everyone just staring at you.....lol.....

Awesome color choice. Sweet. And better get use to the staring. It will never stop. No matter where you go there will be somebody who's seeing a new Mustang in the flesh for the first time.

On my commute home yesterday a nice looking brand-new blue GTO slowly came alongside and the driver's wife/girlfriend was staring drop-jawed at my Stang. Kinda felt bad for the GTO guy... kinda.
