You should get a build week within a few days. Those seem to be 2 - 3 weeks out normally. Maybe another 2-3 weeks after build week you will be cruising! Great news for you.

I ordered from Schrier. They have been pretty straight with me. I am not going to get me hopes up. They didn't get any GT allocation for march, but they may get some next month. Oh well, at least I wont have to deal with the licensing during the tax time months.

 

My deadline of cancellation looms two weeks from today. Don't know what I will do then.

Looked at a GT at Jeff's store salesman did a great deal then manager shot it down and would not sign off on it :bang:

 

Never did like Markel. Not sure why. I did talk to them when I started this, but they would not budge off MSRP. Atchley and Schrier were $100 a part at $26,500, went with Schrier

 

Are you cancelling then, or has your dealer advised that Ford will cancel remaining orders then? The latter had been a rumor I heard, but I never saw it substantiated.

No...I am just cancelling on my own. I can't rationalize spending the money on a car that will be delivered in June or July and basically be one model year old by the time I buy it. Just doesn't make sense to me. I have become so upset with this whole process that I am not sure I really want to purchase another Ford vehicle in the near future. Have no idea exactly what I will buy though. There isn't much else in my price range, at least that is new, that I like at all.

 

I'm pretty pissed as well! On Monday I talked to my dealer and I was told I was next in line to get pulled for that dealership. HOGWASH! Evil Robot Lady shot me down again this morning at 7am. Looks like another week of waiting.

 

Just because you are the first in line at that dealership doesn't mean you are going to get pulled the next week.
