Punjabi: noooo! I want the only one like this in Austin! BTW, Mac Haik told me that this was the second 2005 Mustang sold in the Austin area. The first was sold by Maxwell earlier the same day.

A salesman at Leif Johnson said they'd sold a Mustang GT on Friday (10/15).

Here's a story from my husband. He didn't want to register on the boards just to post this cool little tidbit. And yes, I was taking a nap... I was exhausted from Saturday's activities (getting the car, having to play handbells at a wedding, watching a football game, just a few of the things to do) and I had to get up really early Sunday morning too. Anyway, here's his story:
While my wife took a nap yesterday I drove the car over to my parents'
house to let them check it out. On the way there, as I was turning
into the neighborhood, I should say, a very large man in a ford F-150
STX headed the opposite direction spotted the new car and was very
excited by it. I gave him a smile and a wave and then turned off the
road. After a minute or so the guy in the truck came driving down the
street looking for the new Mustang.
He got out and I let him look at the car, under the hood, and take a
seat in it. He was very happy and wanted to buy one right away.
After he left I took my parents to lunch. On the way two motorcycle
cops fell in behind us about three cars back. One car in front of me
was doing about 20 miles an hour in a 50 zone so I gunned it and
passed him. When I got to the next red light the two cops came up on
the shoulder... one of them practically did a stoppy on the bike and
looked me right in the face and gave me the Okay sign saying "Oh wow I
love that car!!" and then sped off.
We've gotten several people taking phone photos and one guy dropped
his cell phone when he jerked his head around to check out the car..
which was quite amusing. This new body style is a real head turner I
must say. Especially when a pretty lady is behind the wheel.

Also, I sat in the back seat for a while today. For someone my size, it was really quite comfortable. I sat behind someone who is.... I'm not sure, but well over 6' tall. While I didn't specifically ask how much room he had, he didn't complain and didn't ask to scoot back at all. I had about 2 extra inches he could have pushed back and I would have still been fine. Plenty of headroom for this shorty.
I did have a problem though: getting out of the back seat was a real pain. I just about lost my balance and it was almost necessary to have someone hold their hand out to steady me.
The lever to tilt the front seat forward is now higher up on the back of the seat, as opposed to my 2000 where it's really low on the seat. This new position is nice, it's easier to get to.
However, the seat doesn't "remember" where it was before the lever is pulled. So after the person has gotten into the back seat, the front seat is leaned back so that someone else can sit there.... but it doesn't automatically go to the same position/angle that it was at before. You have to manually hold the lever and with the other hand pull the seat to where you want it to be. This shouldn't be a two-handed operation in my opinion.
I'm really trying hard to find something to complain about if this is the worst thing I can find with the car! Overall, it's just wonderful.

Here's a few more pics I took this morning. It looks great with the tint, and we also got a good detail of the car yesterday. The dealership did a pretty good job, but it really shines now!
***WARNING*** the full size versions of these are NOT small. It may take a few moments for them to load from ImageShack.

Well guess what, no front plate, no holes in the front bumper and no sticker. I never had any problems with any police officers about not having a plate on my car at all.
