I'm sure the car will to.

I painted the hood, spoilers, taillight panel, and wheels a satin black to match the powdercoating on the louvers. This satin black is quite similar to the semi-gloss used on the original bosses.

Dude I'm pretty sure this is an optical illusion, but your girl looks like a giant next to your ride... although a very very pretty giant

Also, here's another yellow Boss tribute I came across on another site a while back. It'll give you an idea what the shaker hood and 03-04 Mach 1-style Magnum wheels would look like on your car.
Like the car above...lose the little black stripe on the rear quarter...(although original had one-it was thick) your thin one just doesn't work...As for the rest of the car...very nice....and your gal
I think those chrome magnums are good looking wheels, but I still like my black Bullitts better on the 05. To each his own, but IMO, the reason why chrome mags on the old Stangs worked is because they had chrome bumpers and all of the trim was chrome.
Since this is the second time I've been asked how I prepped the wheels, I added that information to my cardomain site, page 5.
Oh, and as far as the supercharger, I'm waiting at least until the warranty is up before I do anything. I'm sure it will take me that long to save up for one anyway. I'm either going Kenne Bell or Saleen, depending on the numbers that KB comes out with. I suspect that KB's number will be better than Saleen and I will end up going that route, even though I love the looks of the Saleen.
The reason I say this is because in general, twin screw superchargers are much more efficient than centrifugals, plus they have way better down-low torque. One of the reasons that they are more efficient is because their moving parts do not touch.
Oh, and my girl is almost 6' with heels on, so yeah, she is tall, hehe.
I'm don't really like how the above car has no stripe behind the rear wheel. Looks weird to me.

yeah i am actually thinking about finding another hood and putting a shaker on my 69. Its a driver, i am not worried about total originality. But it does have the original vin stamped block in it!!
and thanks for the comment on my second automotive passion.. VW's

Some of the 302s are hitting $80-90K+...
Just a thought.
Either way though, Boss cars are killer, including Shea's tribute!

I'm not one to pontificate on keeping cars original, but with te way that Boss cars are escalating in value, you may well want to consider keeping yours as original as possibile if it is a real Boss...

i hear you, but thats not my style, i want the car to be the way i want it, I am planning on finding a second boss motor for it, to pull the original out, then swapping in an overdrive trans, and rack and pinion steering. Everything is bolt in out of those, its just stuff like that i would like to do. just get it to drive better, and pull less rpm on the highway then the jetta

LOL, guys I am a dude. That is my girl in the pics. Anyway, for the guy who asked, the hood is painted, I could not find any place that sold a vinyl for the hood.
As far as having a hood scoop and magnum 500s, to be honest, I don't think the Magnums would look good at all on my car, because there just isn't enough chrome in other places. I am planning on getting deep dish Bullitts (at least for the rear) later on.
The hood scoop was not available on Boss 302s in 1969. It was available on the Boss 429 and on the Mach 1, and on the Boss 302 in 1970, but not on the 1969 Boss 302.
