Well, I've had Lucie since April, and the whole time I've been feeling a vibration/shimmering in the rear of the car upon excelleration from a stop.
She's been in the shop several times to be fixed. Well, finally today, after she's been in the shop for 2 1/2 weeks, the service manager calls and says she's fixed.
I asked him what the problem was. Initially, they thought it was the rear end differential, which was replaced. That wasn't the problem. It was the drive shaft!!
They called Ford and was told to swap out one from a new Mustang on the lot and see what happens. Well, now, the new mustang shimmers, but not Lucie! YEAH!!!!They also replaced the fuel tank & lubricated the brake calipers(brakes were squeaking terribly). I'm so glad to have Lucie back home!!! :worship:
