FFW Bristol Dragway?

Just wondering if any fellow TMS members are going to Fun Ford Weekend in Bristol this weekend?

I'm going up Saturday. Are you putting your ride in the car show or racing?

Yes, car show. Can't beat front row parking for only $10 more I would like to bring both cars but letting my wife drive one makes me a nervous wreck, lol.

Will be there Sunday (car show). Regarding the question on if anybody will be doing dynos/tuning. JDM was at Dinwiddie (VA) last month for FFW - don't know about Bristol.

Getting ready to head out in a few minutes. Every year I have been they have had a mobile dynojet there. I doubt they do any tuning, just pulls but who knows they might.

was great

Just got home it was great......lots of nice cars in the car show....I really like your car Darin. I just hate that Legendmustang.com has almost completely copied my car....I had never seen one pryer to this weekend. what a coincidence? I have some new pictures of it with the new razzi scoops and the CS lower scoops.. oh well. All cars were really nice..just hate I can't go back for Sunday. Put up some pictures if you have them.

Nice meeting you 91SVTCoupe. You car looks awesome. I like your 1/4 window scoops much better than the ones on the Legend Mustang. I had a pretty good time and took a ton of pics. I will put some up on my website soon and post a link. I wish they would separate the car show into classic and late model cars or trailered and driven cars. There were some beautiful late model Mustangs there and the Pre 70's cars took all the awards. I know Sunday is the better car show day with more awards but most of the people come on Saturday to see the True Street race which was pretty good this year. I wonder what happened to the Mustang with the home made John Deere twin turbo set up. He made one clean pass at over 150mph and didn't come back. I thought they might have DQ'd him for not having a parachute on the car.

ditto...

Ditto to everything you said about the car show....lots of nice late models but Im not sure even one got an award? It was still nice to show off my car some. I figure the track stopped the turbo car.......I think I saw you setting below me...but didnt get around to seeing you again before you left. I had to go alittle early due to the people I was with. Let me know about your pictures....thanks for the complement. Maybe we will see each other again...you go to Rockingham? or any other local shows?

For those who went Saturday, you picked the right day. Yesterday was kind of a mess. Had around 60 cars in the show but just when they started judging, it rained and each car got like a minute's time for review.

Contrats Frank! Glad to hear someone with a newer Mustang got an award. Your car looked nice. By the way, where did you find those Hooter's girls? Are you coming to the Parkway Ford show Aug. 25th? I posted my pics at my website www.xtrememustangs.com
