Saw it on Saturday in Imax and it was pretty good! It reminded me a little bit of an 'Ocean's 11' type movie (not *quite* as smart), where they had a plan that had multiple parts and they had an ensemble of past players, which was cool... Definitely entertaining...

I've never been a fan of the series, but this one is well on it's way to being the most successful yet.

We had a neat little "show" on opening night at my theatre:

I'm assuming you mean "during" the credits... Because the rolling credits are after that scene.

Its after the lil bit of credits they show during the animated race between Dom and Brian.

yes, TD is currently the last in the series. Kind of silly the way the made them, but ticket sales dont lie.

Another example of this would be star wars an look at those sale numbers. It really makes the viewers use their heads, smart move on the fast & furious directors part

I think the idea is to remove TD as much from the series as possible. It just doesn't "fit" with the series.

I liked it as well, but was extreamly disapointed in the lack of focus on cars. It was mostly just about a bank hiest. Not enough cars!

I enjoyed the movie because of that. Although I still poked holes in it for some of the really crazy over the top stuff and I'm not even talking about a fight scene that should have caused an old warehouse to collapse.

I have to admit that the F&F movies are guity pleasures of mine. It's not high art but it is big hollywood fun. I think we can all agree that the Pantera and GT40 from the opening act deserved more on pavement screen time but the movie is still pretty good. It was nice to see all the past characters back and in form. As usual for F&F, the bbq* is excellent!

Another thing we can probably agree on...the Rock's team should have been piloting SVT Raptors to negotiate the Rio landscape, it would have been a fitting homage to the SVT Lightning used in the first movie.

* beautiful bum quotient
