I think that was the global windows feature that they disabled but could be re-enabled on MY 05 Stangs. I believe Global Windows is available only if you buy the retrofit version with remote start or the aftermarket "Ford" branded alarm system. I'm not sure which, but I think Ford was stupid to do this. Global Windows only requires additional programming and if they wanted to, they could have made it active on all S197s. This would really upscale the platform without incurring additional costs for the factory!
