[COLOR=blue] I wanted to start this topic to find out if it is just me or not.
IS ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE HAVING THIS KIND OF PROBLEM WITH ORDERS?

I am not. In fact, I ordered way after you and mine will be here in the next day or two, thanks for asking!

Awesome job trying to turn your text blue then failing, there is really no reason to do that. I hate when people post in different colors to seem important, like I would miss your post if it was in regular text.

Maybe he just likes blue. You could be making an assumption, here.

Cool that you should receive your car soon, Altoid. I'm still playing the waiting game, but not as long as many. B)

The waiting game is fun... as long as you're not the one playing it.

Hope you get yours soon too.

Me Too !!!

DORA'd 11/1/04 Priority 10 (later changed to 12).

I'm so darned tired of hearing "Clean and Unscheduled" that I am getting gun-shy about asking.

You can bet the farm that if I ever order another Ford, I will be VERY selective about the dealer and, more specifically, the allocations.

My wife keeps jumping in with "Get Over It - Go Buy a Vette; at least we will HAVE a fun car for spring".

She may be right.

If you really want a mustang, stick it out and it will be worth it. If what you want is a Vette, then by all means go get a vette, drive it like ya stole it. No one can fault ya for getting a vehicle you want to get. But if you get the vette, or vice versa... get the Mustang, are you going to be regretting it a year down the road? If you can answer that yes in either case you know which vehicle you should be getting. Personally, I would take the new Stang over a new Vette anyday of the week.

i think it is paying off to be patient...looks like they have come up with a fix for the Shaker issues and a fix for the strut bearings....two of the recurring issues with the vehicle, less time we'll have to spend at the dealer IMO........as well, the vert production line is getting tweaked daily, so when i get my build date 3-4 weeks down the line she'll be closer to perfect off the line.....

Matt,

I have the car that you ordered.

Satin Silver, Auto, IUP, Interrior Accent Package, upgraded wheels, GT. It has the 500 Shaker.

600 Miles

I am interested in selling it and placing an order for a convertible. If you are interested, let me know....

Alot of us got pulled last week who have been waiting since October and November. I'm sure this is because last week's commodity report that Karpro posted had 100% IUP. Now this is regional but all the other regions would have been about the same percent.

Wait and see this this trend continues and the backlog should be cleaned up pretty quickly and everyone who has been waiting will get their cars pulled as long as their dealer has no alocations issues.

Darling, try waiting as long as some of us have already.

The world will indeed be a much better place when none of us have to ever call that darn 1-800 number again.

First of all, thanks to those for the welcome. I kind of figured that it wasn't only me having these problems, I just wanted to start a thread to let out some of that frustration and hopefully let others do the same.
Like some of you I also have sold my only other car and am carless now until the Mustang comes in. Luckily have a great best friend whose family let me borrow his sister's car while she's at college. Regardless, this delay is causing issues. I know it will be worth it when I get it but nerves are getting shot...

And right about time when you're down to that last nerve...., a peaceful calm comes over you and you're at one with your surroundings. No longer does the trivial issue of your cars arrival date bother you. You quit calling your dealer, and refrain from calling that durn woman voice at 1-800-INE-EDIT.

Right about the time you ALMOST forget about it.....you get the call! It's here! I'm getting it NOW..... WooooHooooooo!! and you proclaim your victory here at Brad's and people fill the thread...pages long sometimes with conga-rats, bannana's, and always one "This thread is worthless without pics" emoticon!

You return days later to report your findings to the world! Yes you are now an "Owner" of a 2005 Mustang!

I've been there.....and the ending is Sweeeeeeeeeet!

I also think that it is an allocation thing as my order was placed Dec 16 confirmed then told about the delay because of all the IUP orders and I recived an e-mail from Ford Canada that it will be built as I orderewith IUP on the week of Feb 21- Feb 28 and Ironically that is the day that Ford and this Geek Weyer goes to court , I also recall that someone did a search on this guy and this is apparently hoe he makes his living trying to settle out of court with these big company's so don't worry your delay has got to be another reason its stange some order and get within two weeks and some as long as six months. It will come.Poldrv.
