i would take the exterior paket (spoiler and mustangstripes) on my V6
but i don't like the mustangstripes on the car
is it possible to order the exterior paket but without the mustangstripes for the same price?
is there anyone who asked it alreaddy when he ordered his V6?

 

Not sure if you can exlcude them when ordering, but they're really easy to remove. The dealer put stripes on my 2000 before I bought it and they came right off being vinyl with a little goof off.

 

I'm 99% sure that when you get the exterior sport appearance package you are getting the "Mustang" striping with the spoiler. So really all you want is a Spoiler, something you may want to wait for aftermarket if getting the stock one isn't a big deal.

Doesn't Goof-Off damage paint?

 

I talked to a couple body shops before doing it and all of them pretty much said the same thing, as long as you don't try to soak it in goof off, no problem, just make sure to re-wax it afterward. All I did was dump some on a rag and use it a little bit at a time to remove the leftover adhesive.

 

my dealer said that he could remove the stripe for me, before i take delivery.

 

even tho this topic has been up like 100 times......people have suggested that u get the package but tell the dealer to remove the stripes. or dont get it and order the spoiler aftermarket and have it put on........but with that said i wouldnt go with the aftermarket spoiler soo id probably keep the stock spoiler and have them remove the stripes
