Ever since I saw the new Mustang I thought it was missing something between the front and rear side windows. So this is what I did. The pony's are from previous body style on the V6 models. $13.00 a peace from Ford. I cut the pin off from behind it and stuck them on. 15 minute job for both sides.

When it comes to the comments I have received, everyone has loved it thinking that they are from factory. The people that know better have told me what a great idea. Hope you guys like it.

Some 40th Anniversary badges would look cool there. They would look good on MG when I get mine.

Looks great! That means I'll be ordering 4 of them when mine arrives (I'm putting one on each door panel inside, too). Great ideas from this forum!

The emblems already come with an adhesive sticker on the back. In the middle there is a pin that sticks out and diameter it is in the size of a dime. I cut it off easily with a sharp knife. I had bought an extra adhesive sticker. Once I had the pin cut off I covered the whole with the extra adhesive sticker so it would not leave any scratches in the event that I ever wanted to take the emblem off. A 10 year old could have done this. No joke.

yeap I almost put them in the middle but I thought about and played with it a couple of days and came to the conclusion that it had be a little lower where I have them. Anyone that uses the idea will see what mean.

Well, I am glad that everyone likes the idea. Wish there was a way to make a buck or 2 on this. LOL

These are the kind of mods that I love. The kind that still let it look original.

Why would you place them up so high? IMO, I think they would look better down near the "GT"....but to each his own.

You may be right. Had not thought about that. But on the other hand dont you think it would get a little crowded if it was near the GT? Too many emblems in one place? Well, unless you took off the GT emblem.

It's your call, you could try to place the "horse" just after the "GT" or below it or, as you suggest, remove the "GT"

They do not look bad at all. I saw your picture on another thread and really was not sure about it. Looking at your other pics it doesn't look bad at all. I do wonder how it would look under the GT badge.

Cool idea! They definitely look like they could have come from the factory like that. It's a nice touch that's not overboard. Good job!
