I mentioned this at my local car club when we saw the first pictures. Said I "It looks like an Aston" they didn't see it! You have just provided irrefutable proof.

The guy that designed the '05 used to work for Aston didn't he? (please don't flame me if i'm wrong!)

From that angle, the 74 Mustang kinda looks like a riced out Pinto.

Except that the wheels & tires on 74 Mustang are so small that it looks like it is riding on roller skate wheels

Since it would be "extended" Family Ties shouldn't the picture have that little blond kid . . .you know the "accident" kid? And that nerd with the glasses?

It does look like those years too. But look at that bumper looks like you could almost switch the aston with the 74. hahaha

I have no idea. I never really watched the show much. I was 4 when it ended. I've just caught a few reruns etc. because I'm a fan of Michael J. Fox (He was raised here in Vancouver).

uh...just to set the record straight: the aston martin pictured at the beginning of this thread was copied from the 2nd generation mustang. when the am came out with that body style, they were roundly criticized for the copy...well, maybe criticize is a bit strong...but IT WAS a copy of the stang. oh well it was a long time ago. jackg 90seville 94k

Makes sense. Thanks for the information.

1972(3)? V8

1986-1989

One of my Favorites.

Pretty long production run 1972-1989.
