Anyone else notice a exhaust odor with their 05 GT? Mine has a smell that was described by a passenger as "sewer gas" Myself, I feel that the cats are not up to spec or it is overly rich. Anyone else?

I know the car tends to smell for a bit, for various reasons.

the crap they spray on the car pre-delivery to the dealerships from the plant...not all of it comes off, and gets burned off for the first couple thousand miles.
And everything else that could be associated with the exhaust and everything else.

Smells like rotton eggs... and yes..its normal but it should last forever.

Also be sure that when you use your AC a lot, that you blow regular air out of it for about a minute everytime you use it...or the moisture can turn to mold...and this stinks too.

It is kind of like rotten eggs I guess, I know my 1994 had the same smell and it never went away. My 1999 was great but the 05 has that "smell" again

Anyone else have this issue? Has it gone away or was it repaired?

That smell has something to do with the catalytic converters being new. I can't remember exactly what causes it, but it should go away after a while. not sure how long it takes to go away.
