Exhaust Help

Man its been a while since I've been on here lol But anyway, I have the Flowmaster 40 Series on my 07. The issue I am now having with it is when i hit a bump, it bangs off the frame now. The exhaust has been there for 2 years now and I never had an issue until recently.

My mechanic said there's basically nothing that I can do because there is no way to get the front hangar on because there is no room. It is held up with the rear hangar only apparently.

What I am asking, is there another remedy for this possibly?

So, you are saying something changed. Seems like a simple fix then, you just fix what changed. Other than that, I'ld have to look at the car on a lift. Never seen a car you couldn't add or replace hangers on?

That's the issue. I don't know what is now causing it to do that. I don't know if I can put something between the exhaust and the frame to act like a "cushion" so it doesn't bang metal on metal.

Thanks for the input though. I'll figure something out with it

Well I changed my shocks this weekend and after looking very closely, I noticed that the rear harness was banging off of a piece of the frame. But it didn't look like it was going to hit until I was right up close. WIth that said, I fixed it by taking one of the rubber grommets from my old rear shock and wedging it between the hangar and the frame and wala! lol
