Tried to post this from work this AM but couldn't. ERL tells me that I'm locked in production, scheduled to be build week of Aug 7, ETA dealership week of Aug 15.
Getting really excited!! Hope you all are as lucky.

locked for production on 7/19, with build date of 8/1 and dealer ETA of 8/13
That's certainly longer than many people experienced, but not longer than I was expecting. I figured my combination of vert, cloth top, and manual trans might take a bit longer. Plus my dealer is apparently not an allocation stud.
But overall it's been a reasonable process - especially with so much info available via the forum and the ERL. My dealer is pretty clueless, so it's been good having resources that help me know more than he does. To his credit, though, I got no hassle over X-plan.

Check out the new Motor Trend.
One of the editors ordered a Mustang GT, and got to follow it along at the Ford assembly plant. If I remeber correctly most of the work to build the car was done in an 8 hour shift.

Hey Doug, they just moved out my ETA by a week too. They're still saying "as of 8/1 your unit is scheduled for build week of 7/31" but the "dealer eta" part now says 8/19.
Also, with her latest update ERL has dropped the term "locked in", which makes me wonder whether there's a material issue that may endanger Tuesday's build. We'll see...

That Evil Robot Lady now says my GT is scheduled for prodiction on August 4th rather than locked in. WTF!?!?!
If they can change it what does locked in mean? It's like a credit card company changing a fixed rate.
Also they have backed off a week on ETA to dealer and now say week of August 18th rather than August 12th. I'm thinking up some brand new adjectives to describe this situation but I'm sure if I type them in this post one of the moderators will edit them out.
