For everyone for the spoiler delete
#1
Like many of you I like the spoiler delete option. But I was wondering what you thought about the spoiler delete on the vert? We have all heard people say they don't like the vert as much because it loses the styling without the look of the roofline. Since the vert does appear more "straight back", do you think the spoiler helps to break that up? Not really sure how I would order it.
Still not sure if I want to order a coupe or a vert. Guess I have to make up my mind soon because I'm putting in my order in about a week. lol
I only truely love the spoiler delete if the car is lowered a couple inches. Make a world of difference IMO...
What do you guys think?

I don't like the spoiler on the coupe, and I absolutely hate it on the vert. Spoiler delete all the way!
Btw I'm having the same doubt as you have, would love to get a vert, but I like the styling of the coupe a lot better. On the old model the vert was okay, but on the new one it does nothing for me. I think it looks rather blend and the roof stack in the rear is plainright ugly. I still can't believe Ford came up with this design.

I'm probably one of a few that actually likes the factory spoiler on the coupe... although the CDC ducktail ain't bad
As far as the vert is concerned... I think the spoiler delete option is the way to go

I'm staying with the spoiler (on order) for now.
Would like to go ducktail in the future, but for now - I kinda think the factory spoiler will help mask the oversized boot (if and when it's on) at least from the rear (an angle I suspect many might see).

I think the car looks better overall without the spoiler. I've heard a lot of guys complain about how high the collapsed roof is; I don't think the spoiler helps any. The fact that you would have to plug up the holes left by a spoiler if you chose to go the ducktail route later is enough to make me want the delete option. Too bad they can't just leave the spoiler and the mounting hardware in the trunk, ya know? That way, you could add it later if you wanted too.
BTW, I agree completely about the coupe vs vert option. How much sunshine do you get where you live? That should help you decide which configuration to purchase.

First decide whether or not there is another spoiler you like better than stock or spoiler delete, if so, order the delete and have that one added. If not, then decide spoiler vs. delete.
For me, its CDC ducktail, so delete. But if there were no other spoilers I liked, then I'd probably go with the factory spoiler over the straight back design on the vert. Coupe, spoiler delete either way.
