For those of you who have given up on ERL, there may be hope. Seems recently she's been upgraded. Seems to be able to handle more conversational like speech - you don't have to talk to her like a robot when pronouncing digits, and she responds faster.

She is also giving more detail. Don't know if she was giving arrival information before (haven't had a build date before) but now she does and all her answers also include the year, not just month and day.

Finally, the voice is different. Maybe she's not so evil anymore.

 

I find if you imitate the awkward pauses when you speak, erl understands you better.

nine
one
etc...

in a real robotic voice.

 

Until she says something different than "Clean & Unscheduled" I will think of her as EVIL.

So when the ERL (yes she is EVIL) tells you that your car is coming, do you call your dealer asking for an ETA pretending that you don't already know?

 

I straight up told our salesman thru email that I knew it has been shipped via convoy on august 27th and for him to keep a look out for it. I don't care if they know I had the number. I didn't get it from them. But it is however you feel comfortable.

ERL actually told me this morning that I should expect delivery September 16, 2005.

 

She told me to expect delivery week of 9/13. But I am still not yet built, as far as I know. My blend date was 8/22, but as of last night Kzinti over at BON told me "not yet"! :bang:

 

My Blend Date was 8-25. Kzinti said I am scheduled to be built this Thursday. I bet you will have an update of build date this evening.

Hey Jon,my blend was 8-22 and mine was built 8-29.dealer called today and said stang was in transit and to expect it week of sept 13(I'm trying to figure out why he said 13th and not 12th since 13th is a tuesday anyway you should be real close if not already built..

Instead of talking to a machine, call the telephone number in my sig. You must have your VOC or DORA when you call.

 

Diane, Chuck, you called it! I was built Monday 8.29 and shipped 8/30!

Dealer says to look for it week of 9/12, VOPC says 9/7.
