Called ERL this moring expecting to hear C/U but she pleasantly said that as of April 7th my order has been serialized and awaiting a build date, WOOHOO. I just couldn't believe my ears so I had to call again tonight just to hear it again. UHoh she changed her mind, now as of the 7th I have been scheduled for the week of the April 25th. I couldn't believe it twice in one day Double WOOHOO :dance: :dance: Its going to be along wait but I know it will be worth it. Does anyone have a sleeping pill that lasts for at least a month

They told me all three.
He was going by how long the one they just got in took.

 

Thanks but I dont trust dealers anymore. Just last week my dealer told me my car will be here by April 21st. Thats gonna be some trick since it wont even be built yet. He was just trying to keep my business I think, other than that he's been real good.

 

Ahh...very true. Same here. Dealer has been real good. I hope he is not trying anything. But he is all I have to go on. Since I can't get info anywhere else by myself from lack of information. But all will be good. Long as I get my mustang just like I ordered it. I'll be happy.

 

Since you have your DORA, you have all you need to call the "Vehicle Order Processing Center" yourself and get accurate information. All you need is the Dealer code which should be on about the third line right before the dealer name. If there is a letter in that number just omit it and use the numbers only. Next you need the body style which is "T82" if you are getting a GT coupe, and then your order number which is on the line below the dealer code. Most importantly you need the phone number for the VOPC, which if you dont have let me know and I will PM it to you (we are not allowed to post it on this site). You will be dealing with a recording so if you get a live person just hang up and try again because this is a dealer number only. I hope this info helps and good luck.

Congratulations Ray, not too much longer now. I can't wait.

 

Geez...I think I am the only one serialized today that has a May 2nd build week. Oh well...hard to complain.

 

Nothin's finalized yet we could be moved to your date or vice-versa you could be moved to ours. Until they are built nothing is for sure. All I know is the wait is worth it.

I just called this morning.....week of the 25th for me too!!!

Nope, you aren't alone. I got serialized this week and am in the May 2nd week too. Lets hope we get moved up a week somehow

The grin still hasn't been wiped from my face since I talked to ERL Friday morning. I so happy I am going to end up with my '05. I was starting to get a bit nervous.

Only a bit longer to go now...

 

GRRRRR, you guys got us all excited, so I just called robot lady.....still C/U, oh well, there is always next week.

Won't be long for you either Mike! From what I was told they group builds together, which makes sense... like this week all GT/auto/leather/IUP, next week all V-6/cloth/manual/shaker 1000, etc.
