Scramblr: Did you paint the red on top of your plenum cover? If so, what did you use? My car is Torch Red so I was thinking of seeing if some red pinstriping would work on the plenum and the fuel rail cover as well.

What about a Radiator overflow tank? anyone put a new one on?

thanks
ALlen

I had the cover painted by Midwest when they originally came out. Of course, about 6 months later all the custom airbrushing started coming out. I know before the covers were being painted, someone showed pics of their cover with pinstriping and it looked pretty good.

In reference to the Rad overflow, I have a Canton on my wish list which I'll be picking up soon.

Here's for the Canton Overflow tank. Mine should be here next Monday. Check the blem list, that's were I got mine it was only $85 vs. $150. I'll post pics when I'm done with the install. I also got the power steering tank.

Good find there. I had a couple of places listed, but for like $140. Depending on how bad they're blemished, this may be a good buy. Let us know what yours looks like.

Midwest is an awesome company! I have ordered a ton from them already and will continue to do so. I am also experiencing the rubbing on the extensions though? Did you contact them yet?

The Midwest radiator cover extensions are available again. Here's my engine compartment -- Factory plenum cover, BMR strut tower brace, GMS CAI, Scott Drake & FRPP caps, Midwest radiator extensions, MRT hood struts.

I went with KenneBell. The MAG strut covers are now on and radiator extensions will be in later this week and I will put a new pick with the MAG parts.

Just got done installing the Canton Aluminum Overflow Tank and Power Steering Tank. I didn't know what to do with the extra overflow opening so I just set something up temporary.

Anyone got any advice on lengths needed for the braided hoses under the hood? Any kits or the like?

Here's a good free engine dress up mod. Get some flitz polish and a dremel tool and polish your existing fuel rails. It's a little time consuming, but stay after them, they will really brighten up. I have a lot of people ask me whaere I got the chrome and/or polished fuel rails. I've posted pics somewhere on here, but it's been a while. I'll try to get some new pics on here. It's worth it!

On the overflow Tank you can just cap it off! Did this over a year ago and no problems. Used a Rubber cap. I have both tanks also. You can't have a can under your hood!~

HaHaHa and why can't I have a can under my Hood. I rather have a can than put a rubber on my tank. Its it a Trojan or sheepskin???
