Engine Cover
#1
Does anybody know if Ford or an aftermarket company has come out with the Powered By Ford engine cover that we can add to our stangs? If not, do we know if there are plans to produce that?

Definately need the cover. I am still very upset at the fact the engine cover and 18" rims that were all over the media for this car in the end were not even an option.. Bad FORD! Bad!

I don't want one just for the fact that it looks like it would retain heat in the intake too much.

how much would it affect it? couldn't be too much could it?

It's hard to believe that the engine cover saved Ford that much. C'mon, Ford, YOU released the pictures showing the engine with the cover! We wouldn't be disappointed and missing it if you hadn't left it off!

No it wouldn't. I like seeing the engine. I don't need no stinkin cover. Let me see the glory of the 4.6!
EDIT: Although it does look better than all those VTEC or VVT-i shrouds that cover the whole engine in plastic.

It looks better.
It's for appearance only and could actually have some drawbacks functionally.
It should be an option for those who are willing to pay for it.
.....Kinda like cosmetic surgery.
