Engine Bay Dress Up
I have been busy spending money and adding some dress-up parts to my stang. Below is a pic of the almost final product.
I installed the Midwest Auto Gear Radiator Extensions and Strut Covers. They really dress it up. I also installed a set of California Pony Cars Fuel Rail Covers and Fuse Box Cover which are a perfect match to the Powered By Ford Plenum Cover.
I bought a set of Hood Struts off of Ebay so I don’t have to rely on the factory prop rod. I will remove that soon.
I also hooked-up a Battery Tender connector so I can keep the battery fully charged at all times. This car is not my daily driver and sits for many days. I have never had a start problem like others but why take a chance especially when the Battery Tenders not terribly expensive.
The only thing I don’t have installed is the Scott Drake Engine Caps Kit which are on backorder. I am also debating on the Granatelli CAI in the near future.
The only downside other than being a bit pricey is I will have to keep the engine bay as clean as the exterior!

Thanks for the pic. I figure if I do buy it, I will go with the polished. I wish they had one that was more finished than the standard and not a shiney as the polished. Kinda lik a brushed look.

I think they do make one like that. It's brushed, with a clear coat. I think it looks nice! Here's a link to a video of their's where they talk about it.

Here is an updated pic of the engine bay. I installed the Scott Drake hood hinge and misc bolt kit and the Granatelli CAI kit (Thanks George ).
The CAI really woke it up and it sounds meaner when I put my foot into it.
I am awaiting delivery of the Scott Drake Engine Caps Kit and then I will be done. Maybe......

Looks BeBeep!
I thought you were going to go with the brushed CAI though. Or don't they make that any more?

OK, yeah that is a good deal! Congrats!
I was if I ordered it direct from Granatelli. I actually bought this from a board member brand new for $220 shipped so I jumped on it. I actually like the finish better than I thought I would. If I change my mind later I will get it powdercoated.
