Electrical issues

It rained pretty heavy last night, my cars alarm went off and my parking lights are stuck on. I checked the sjb and disconnected the battery. I left the battery disconnected overnight and when I reconnected it they were off for a few minutes then came back on. The sjb was a little damp but nothing serious, all the fuses are fine. Don’t know if there is a fuse for the parking lights but I’m lost on what to do.

Even a little damp can be very serious on that thing, because it's been getting damp for a while now. I'm afeared you are looking at a new-to-you SJB on this car, and the fixes thereto to prevent that dampening.

You can look into the fresh air box under the cowl, where you replace the cabin air filter, to see if the drains have been plugged up and get them unplugged, maybe that's all it is on the water intrusion. The other is the windshield sometimes has a leak, which you 'just' have to run water on the windshield from the top of the car, get under the passenger side dash, and see if you find it.

I hope that helps, even if it's not the news you want. Good luck!
