I learned something new today. My son put about five coats of Z wax on the 05 GT I gave him. Man that stuff is slick!! After washing it he uses a leaf blower to dry it. Wow a chip off the old block. An engineer for sure. Now why did I not think of that !!! I must be brain dead after all these years. I did tell him to use it to blow the birds nest out of the clothes dryer pipe. Works great too.

I wouldn't use a leaf blower for fear of nailing a stone into the paint...but thats just me....
I use Zaino. 7-10 coats per year.
in the hot weather and sun (which you can use zaino) its dry by the time you get to the last section of the car.
Zainos car wash gel works wonders too

That's an old motorcycle drying trick that's been around a long time because of all the nooks and crannies. I always thought that most people knew about it but it's good that you brought it up. They also sell high power blowers (electric) for this purpose, though they tend to be a lot more expensive than they should be....Just reversing the blow on a shop vac works well also.

Freaks! ![Biggrinjester](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrinjester.gif)
Yay, more activity in the car care forum (once this gets moved of course).
I use Meguiars wax so I wonder if it will work with that? I use a Griot's Garage Chamois to dry which is also great.

I thought you didn't need to use anything else besides Mr. Clean?
I use this
-California Water Blade
-Griot's Garage Stay Soft Chamois (so good, its unbelievable)
-Microfibers for VERY small touch up

I have an air hose with a high pressure nozzle to blow dry. I have always used a very good chamois first though. But you can say completely blow dry(to the bone) a tire, wheel, brake, and wheelwell in about 5 sec with it, ready for dressing.
other then that I wash at my bros house to use the pressure washer I bought him, 7hp 2700 psi, and just regular dry. I can actually get off tar bugs and droppings with the powerwasher before ever touching the car.
