Donahoo Ford in Baltimore, MD got a Black on Black vert in today with a MSRP of $32.365.00. They said since I'm such a lucky guy I can have it for $36,500 on the road. I'm really getting sick of joker dealers like Donahoo Ford. This is a new Ford dealer too so I'm more then happy to help show them as being greedy.

I cannot stand sarcastic and money hungry dealers. They drive me nuts. End of story.

We had another DEALER offer $2000 over MSRP to take ours off our hands...there may be some markup on the Verts for awhile

I don't have a problem with asking MSRP but anymore then that is just being greedy. Yeah Bob Bell will be sitting on those V6's when you can walk into Len Stoler and get a V6 for close to invoice.

Stay away from Koons Ford in Security also, the fleet manager told me that they charge a premium because "people will pay it" Nice huh?

I'm just going to wait and see if my GT Coupe is ever going to show up. I got $450 over invoice from Len Stoler because at the time I ordered they figured they would have a few GT's on the lot. Right now they have none and most of the ones they sold are rolling out with 20's on them. LOL

Nichole I might have to call you and see if I can do a ride along. Its been awhile since I've been in a GT in motion.

I bought my GT coupe, off the lot, at Norris Ford, in Easton, MD, for X-Plan/$30 over invoice, on 2/11/05.
Obviously, I recommend them.

GT

I got a e-mail back from the sales manager that said he would part with it for MSRP and they never markup the cars. Funny how $32K turned into $36K because there isn't $4k worth of tax on the car. In MD tax is 5%.

I keep hearing the term X-plan and it seems many people have been using it. From my understanding its like getting the vehicle for the price as if you are an employee? Correct me if I am wrong. My questions are how are so many people getting to use this option and what kind of qualifications do you need to get it? I have already purchased my car and got a good deal being my neighbor works for a dealership in my area but I am just curious?
