Hi I recently bought a 2005 mustang. When I got it the dome lights were blue but for some reason they have changed to white and I really want them to go back to blue. I've lost contact with the guy I bought the car from so I'm not too sure of any details, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

 

they might've had the cheap paint or rubber covers on them and it burned off? the only way to tell is to pull that piece down and take the bulbs out and look. if that the case then order some blue led bulbs off of ebay

 

+1 Silver ....... i put those led in mine, they are pretty bright for the size, you can see in this picture, or part of it, the blue lightning ;

 

mine where red now theyre white!!

 

I put blue LED ones in my gt when I first got it. Switched to cool white LEDs later and I like those better. I got mine from WWW.vleds.com. Very easy install.

 

That's one intense blue, that'd kill my night vision in a second. I've always wondered how it would look with the red amber BMW uses in their interiors (not for map lights but for ambient lighting).
