I know we have discussed this in the past but I want to know if anyone in Canada has received a VIN # or build date yet. Since the Mustangs are expected (guess) to arrive Mid to end November that is only 4-6 weeks away. I still don't have a VIN for my May 26th order :bang: and have been jerked around a little by the dealer.

If anyone else in Canada has received a VIN already let me know how long ago you got it. I may start shopping around at other dealers.

I've had my VIN number for almost a month now but there is no build date. The dealer is still telling me that all dealers will receive their allotment at the same time...beginning of November.

Just got back from the dealer. Went in to , well, not be nice. Wouldn't you know it, all of a sudden he produces a DORA and VIN#. Build date set for November 11th. I looked at the DORA and now I see why it is taking so long. I placed my order on May 26th but the DORA shows "Dealer Submitted 09/01/2004". They waited months before submitting it. By the time it is built I most likely will not receive it until early-mid December. Not too happy about that I expressed my concerns.

We then sat down and went over pricing. He said "here's what you will pay for the car". I said "uh-hum (clearing throat), here is what I WILL pay for the car" as I handed him the price list I received from this site (thanks again to whomever originally posted that). he compared those prices to the ones on the computer. He said "Sorry we can't do that". I said"Sorry but you will. After all the run-around and flat out lies (meaning that they said they placed my order in may but didn't till Sept) I will not pay a penny more. " The sales manager came over and after a little argument I finally got it all in writing. $300.00 above Dealer invoice + shipping and gas charge.

Now all I need is my car

I keep asking myself if all the stress is worth it, then I look at the car. Sure it is worth it. Also just noticed that on the Canadian GT's, BFG gforce KDW's are the stock tires. All seasons are only on the V6 models. Good thing I am not driving it in the winter.

Adrenalin, are you sure about that?

ford.ca shows performance A/S as the GT tires, I am very confident they are still the PZero's

Hmmm, this is interesting. My DORA shows All seasons, but the Canadian brochure shows v6 - P215/65SR16 BSW all season and GT P235/55ZR17 BSW Performance

Well seeing as they messed up my order and placed it on Sept 10 and the VIN just came in I'd say it takes about 5 weeks

My dealer (LeBlanc Ford, Chateauguay (near Montreal, Que)) told me that I will have my VIN# this week and probably the car end of November, early December.... and he gives me X-plan. I call him once a week to have some news... Nice guy.

If you get your VIN find out your build date. Mine is not until Nov 11 and it takes at least 2 weeks to arrive. Currently my dealer is still waiting for cars he was to receive in September. It is the largest dealer in the area and he still thinks I won't see my car until late December.

Cool, hope you get your car soon. I heard another guy ordered a Redfire GT at the dealership mine is from and his is to arrive by the end of October.
