Have a 2006 Mustang GT and and do these wheels come on a GT? There 17's

Yes, mine originally came with them. They were the optional 17" wheel.. I believe they were called Split Spoke Alloy or something like that.

I always felt that the stock wheels should have been the premium and vise versa.

Yup, those were the upgrade wheels for the GT, and the standard wheels on the CR-V.
