Do the rear seats fold down in the V6 or GT?
Sweet! This is a big step towards me ever actually considering getting this car. I don't think i would ever buy a car unless i knew it could carry mountain bikes, snowboards, and guitars.
I was actually just thinking about asking this question on here today. 05GT4me, are you in montreal, stealing my thoughts?

I forgot who it is, but there is one guy with an avatar that has him in the trunk with the seats folded down and he is looking thru to the driver seat.
I think that picture was posted somewhere else too.

I thought I read somewhere that the fold-down opening is somewhat smaller on the '05 than it was on '94-04. I can't really tell from those pictures, but if this is the case, a 26" bike may not fit in an '05.

i remember that. funny stuff
"leg room problem??? what leg room problem???"
This one area the GTO owners complain about, and was also a consideration for me in buying the Mustang over the GTO. I can't count the number of times I've had to lower the seats in all my cars to get stuff to fit in the trunk. You can even get an 8' piece of lumber in the car if you position it correctly.
You can even haul 10' lengths of conduit or wood trim !!
I even fit a 7.5" axle assembly (less brakes & axle shafts) once in my '98.
I also have one of those 17' folding ladders (Versa-Ladder I think) and it fits in there ... with passenger seat all the way forward, door wide open with window rolled down it just barely sneaks between the seat back and door jamb.
No, the Mustang Convertible back seats DO NOT fold down. However, they did in the '94 ... Ford eliminated it in '95 or '96.
So the new GTO back seats really DON'T fold down ?? How useless is that in this day & age !!
