Called my buddy, ERL, and she had me locked in production for August 5th on my 06! Yay, looks like I get built even before Job 1!!!

 

It sure sounds like it. I haven't heard of anyone else locked in for production on the 5th. Congrats!

 

kzinti has said job1 was Aug 5 before any of us got our VINs. Also He is trying to find the VIN of the 1st and last '05 and the 1st '06 to come down the line. Since we know they are not always produced in VIN order.

 

GRR! Just had my first experience with the ERL. I can't get her to recognize my VIN. I now know why they call her the ERL. I'm thinking maybe since I'm calling from overseas the line quality is too degraded.

Any chance someone would be willing to give it a shot for me? I can supply the VIN and dealer code.

Guys, if you actually want to use the ERL, forget the VIN. Use your order number instead.

You'll go nuts trying to get her to understand the VIN.
