disabled speed limitier on V6

I have just seen on my build sheet that the speed limitier is disabled, this is a Canada destination car. I do have the pony pkg pirelli`s that are speed rated. I recently hit 200k or 120mph, no problemo !

Build Sheet

Go to your Ford dealer and give your VIN # to the parts department, ask them to run your build sheet from Fords home files. It will tell you anything you want to know! The speed limitier cuts power at a given speed to keep you from going too fast. If you have it set I understand a tuner application can void it.

Sounds like you need a new dealer, a parts department counterman did this for me when I was asking how to identify a traction-lok diff on my car. He was quite happy to do it for me. 7 pages of everything about my car from the vin#.

Send me your VIN and I can try to run an HVBOM or VCIS report-the information should be in one of those.
