Take it around to various body shops for bids. I would estimate between $550 to $750.

If you replace the whole qtr panel then you may get to 1800 US. Especially if your insurance is covering it. My eyeball opinion is thinking 90+ dollars an hour labor which is the norm in Washington DC. I had a similar dent on my 02 that included a broken tail light. 2500 to fix. 500 dollar deductible hurt enough too.

I doubt you will need the 1/4 replaced. By the looks of it you should be able to pull it out. The 1/4 will have to be repainted. Hard to tell by the pics but your probably looking at 6hrs. body work and 3.5hrs to paint and clear the 1/4. So your probably looking around $ 800 - $ 1000....

Just got back from the bodyshop @ the dealers. $500 CDN, not bad at all. I am sure it will look great too, these guys rock. The salesmen are great to.

that's pretty good, less than most of the estimates here.

by the way I think you should take the bodyside mouldings off, but that is JMO

Yours looks worse than mine:

This will buff out easy and you would not notice and most likely no paint required !

yeah, that stinks. I did the exact same thing in my black 2000 while pulling into my garage. it cost me $1500 to get it all fixed, but once it was fixed I couldn't tell anything had ever happened.

Hi Ed,

Yeah, Suburban is great. They are doing it for only $480, and they were able to take it and start work right after the estimate. I love that place.

Will you go to the next 05 stang meet?

Hmm. Re: bodyside mouldings, yeah, I think I will take them off. thanks for the reminder!
