Does anyone have a problem with their 05's differential whining starting at 60 , loud at 65 then goes away after 70? Mine is a 05 gt 5 speed 1k miles. i thought it may be the tranny but it does it in 4th as well as 5th..

Would a new ring and pinion cure this?

 

They had to replace the ring and pinion on mine to get it to go away. Take your local service guy for a ride.
