I went into my dealer today to change some things on my 06 order (I ordered an 05 Jan 7th...and got nothing). When he was making the changes, he said my order was picked up already...and I looked on his monitor and it said 2 letters and "Unsch" The letters were not "CL" or I would have assumed that meant clean.

Are they picking up orders already??? Could I finally have received some good news????!!!!!!!

Good question....

Im number one in line for an 06 at my dealer after 17 weeks of C & U and just missing the 05. Has anybody at all received a production date for an 06?

I was told today I might finally get my VIN next week. Geez Ford, that would be just dandy

Good luck to everyone who missed the 05 and are waiting for their 06 orders to get pulled

Tonite is the 1st pull for '06 Mustangs. What your dealer might have seen is UNSCH-SI. The "SI" means that the order is lining up to pull that night barring anything unforseen such as last minute commodity issues. Usually when it goes to SI [on the day they are going to schedule ordersa nd not before], it does pull. I have my 1st order in the system at SI and I will check the system tomorrow to see if it is serialized [then I will email my customer and give him the good news]. we shold then have a build date by Wed or Thurs since Ford is in essence closed until Tuesday [the office that is as the plants are on vaca].
Good luck and check with your dealer tomorrow or Tues for a VIN.

It's really cool that demand for Mustang continues into the second production year. Can't wait to see what changes we will discussing next year as the '07s pictures are "leaked."

Billy, what did you order? A vert in Tungsten or Redfire? What are your other options? I'm trying to get a feel for what options/colors they are going to pull for the first week.

Thanks

And er, um...hope those of us ordering 64E;s and hoping they are fanblades turn out to be right - not much room for second guessing now!

Yes, I did see "UNSCH-SI" so I guess its great news!!! Thanks for confirming!! ISELL, if you had my info from the dora, are you able to look up the info, or are you unable to look at another dealer's order info?

Buzzy, at the time of my order, the one that was originally being pulled, was a tungsten with 64E, IUP, Mach1000 vert. I changed it yesterday to Black with 17s. I saw incorrigible's pics, and decided I will go aftermarket rims.
