Hi all, First post long time lurker. This site has been such an unbelievable help.

My question is do I need to have the premium package to be able to upgrade to the shaker 1000?

Thanx for the info everyone.

I'm fairly certain that the Shaker 1000 is a stand alone option, so you can order it regardless of what package you get; deluxe or premium.

That's what I'm figuring also.

Has anyone placed an order with a deluxe package and the shaker 1000?

Ya, I have the order guide.
I'm getting flac from the dealer saying the order is not going through because I want the shaker 1000 yet I don't want the preimium package.

I'm going to have to go up there and see what kind of crap they are trying to pull.

Appreciate the info guys.

I thought the deluxe v-6 and the deluxe gt had indash single cd standard audio or shaker 500

And the premium v-6 and premium gt had indash 6 cd shaker 500 or 1000!?!

From the first page of the order guide it sounds to me like you have to have the premium in order to have the Shaker 1000.

Deluxe has the option to order Mach 460, but not 1000.....at least from what I've seen.

My guess is:
deluxe = base CD or an optional shaker 500
premium = shaker 500 or an optional 1000

i thought the shaker 1000 was GT option only, and the shaker 500 is the best v6 stereo you can buy.

Page 5 of the Order Guide lists all the options with a chart of each vehicle type and what is standard and optional. The Shaker 500 is optional for V6 Deluxe and GT Deluxe. The 500 is standard for V6 Premium and GT Premium. The Shaker 1000 is optional for the V6 Premium and both GT models. It is not available for the V6 Deluxe.

I could be wrong about this, but I'm just going off the order guide.

Your right, the system rejected my order until we changed it to the premium package.

I wish we had "mod-only" smilies. I'd put the "closed, lock, etc. in it" so people would stop being "back seat mods".

There is no need to lock every thread.....just stop posting.
