I'm traveling to Vegas on Sunday 4/3 and will return home late Thursday 4/7. I ordered my car from a dealer about an hour and half away, so a late Saturday delivery is the same as coming in as my plane is taxiing down the runway.

See signature for details on the build and ship dates of my car.

Will my car arrive:

Friday night / Saturday morning - early enough for me to pick it up?
Late Saturday or into next week - forcing me to wait until Saturday 4/9 to pick it up? :notnice:
Not even next week, causing me to go even more insane? :bang:

My car and Azoufan's should come in on the same train.

I ordered January 11th from Five Star Ford in Scottsdale AZ. Built March 3rd, Shipped convoy March 6th, by rail the 17th and then the 21st... The dealer really wanted this one to go on his March business, but said he thought maybe it would come in some time after the 1st.

Ford has a supply chain issue if they can't get a car to the dealer in less than a month. Imagine how many $ in inventory they have floating around out there...

It almost always works out where you have to wait.

They told me a delievery date of Sat Mar. 5th. I was hoping it would come in early becasue I was going out of state for that weekend. It came in early, Wed Mar. 1st - The day I flew out and had to hope and pray my black beauty would still be on the lot come Monday, when I got back.

Thank God for a honest salesman and dealership. They had 24 offers while I was gone to buy my mustang. 1 offer was for $5000 over sticker and they didn't take it.

We were just at 5 Star in Snottsdale on Saturday. Very nice dealer! I will definately be giving them more business in the future. On the lot, they had a beautiful red GT convertible, and two V6 convertibles, plus several V6 coupes. The price on the coupes were great, but they had a $5,000 mark up on the verts.

Well knock me over with a feather, a co-worker called my salesman today to inquire about a new car purchase and he asked if I was going to be in this week to pick up my car as it will arrive TOMORROW! I called him back, twice, to confirm. I asked if he was using the standard ETA dates from Ford, as the dealership is 2 hours away and I need to clear my afternoon meetings tomorrow (you didn't think I would wait until Friday did you?). He informed me that he got this information from their delivery sheet that shows the trucks that have picked up cars and will be delivering them to their dealership, date and all. He said don't worry about the drive, it will be there tomorrow.

I just got done washing my truck and cleaning it out for the trade in, now I have to print out a map to the dealership and burn 6 .mp3 cd's. I'm going to be frickin busy tonight!

Sleep? No need, I won't be getting any anyway.

What does the ERL say.... Today she says I'm still shipped via rail as of the 21st...

I have heard nothing from my dealer and my car was built before yours...

Well, honk when you drive through Tempe...

Man am I envious.
