Dead Rabbit, KC help me out...
I hit a rabbit yesterday on highway. It went under my left wheels, but broke front exhaust isolator (in cross member, near cats). It totally bent and busted. KC, can you help me with the part number? Need to pick up one from local dealer tomorrow.
See attached pic. It reads X03816An is that the part number?
Thanks!

The part is totally mangled... no way it can be fixed under warranty.
Oh well, I take the mangled piece with me tomorrow to get it replaced. This might be pretty tricky to install.
Whatever the animal was, I'm lucky it didn't broke anything else.

I for one am not surprised that it broke. I hit a cat with my '05 sonic blue GT and it knocked out the lower black-out grill! Fortunately the dealer was able to pop it back in. But for God's sake it was a cat! It ran in front of me, I slowed, the idiot turned back to run in front of my car again. I thought I straddled it, but heard / felt the bump-bump, bump-bump. I actually felt sorry for the cat until I stopped at a stop sign and heard a thump. Got out and looked under the car (this was all after 11:00 pm on a Sat. night last May), and my lower black out grill was hanging only by the left side. I was able to pull it off and throw it in the trunk, but honestly, I was soooo p.o'd that I was tempted to go back and make sure that **** cat was DEAD! And I like animals! But I never felt sorry for that cat after that! Stupid cat!

I'm sorry to hear that Miikka... Good luck, I have been so worried about hitting anything on the street since the GT/CS front facia is like a scoop, and whatever I eventually hit will go stright into my Condensor.
