Hello Everyone,
I will be ordering an 06 soon (hopefully), and I have 2 question for you guys. I plan to get mine with the Interior Sport Appearance Package ($195), and add a dash kit to it later.
First question - If any of you have already done this, can you please post pics so that I can see what it looks like?
Second question - Does any of the dash kits include the upper section (w/ vents) as well?

Sorry if my questions are confusing. Maybe these Pics will help. I'm trying to get this ........

Ack! My eyes. Too much bling for my tastes. I wish they'd just let you keep the dark dash over the aluminum one.

Maybe I don't have the details correct, but wouldn't you spend the difference between the two packages anyway on the dash kit? Unless you just don't like the finish on the factory IUP, why not let Ford do the dash and get the MyColor and Message Center as well? I would think you could easily spend more than $250 doing the dash yourself. Maybe I'm wrong?

Must agree whole heartedly. The cost of the IUP includes the 6 guage cluster (standard is 4 guage), computor info pack, the steering wheel upgrade, interior door handles, sill plates, two-toned door panels and the brushed aluminum dash trim. Well worth the 450.00. Most complete dash kits, like the one you are showing sell for more that 300.00, with no gaurantee they will hold up over time. Also if you misplace a piece on the dash, it can not be removed and re-used. I think your time is better spent cruising with Ford doing the hard labor! If you are looking for a contrasting interior, order the lt grey (cloth or leather) as the top of the dash will be charcoal and the lower surrounds will be lt grey. Good luck!
BTW... the cost of the sport package (195.00) will not be included, as all the upgrades are in the IUP (450.00) so you are getting ALL and then some for a mere 250.00 more. A lot cheaper than doing it one piece at a time.

For those that saw the sponge bob movie:

BALD... BALD... BALD... BALD... MY EYES!!!!

Seriously, if all you want is the dash upgrades later, you can do so. You just buy the pieces and stick em on. You will miss out on all of the other cool things, but if all you're after is the dash, you can be as reserved or as outlandish (exampled by that pic) as you want. The aftermarket is there to support your wishes.
