I've seem lots of pics with the red leather. But does anyone have a pic with the dark charcoal interior & leather + IUP?

I figured that anyone who's willing to pay extra $$$ for leather would want the red.

The red is a little to bright for me. Secondly, I'm a slob and I figured the dark charcoal would hide stains/wear better.

I hear red is harder to clean, and fades easier. I like it better, but i think in the long run it would annoy me. Kinda like buying a yellow or bright orange car.

I ordered the leather and didn't want the red. I think it looks fine but just isn't my thing. Also some exterior colors would look horrible with red leather interior.

It's been on the Timeline since January. That's the interior of my silver 2006/2007 GT vert. B)

Interesting that the charcoal leather has just two creases on the seat, whereas the red leather has a pattern of creases for the retro look.

I hate to hijack this thread, but I have a question while we're on the topic of cloth/leather. Will there be a Mustang embriodery on the cloth? I thought I heard a mention of this.

The mustang will be on the GT cloth seats. I believe there is a picture of it on the timeline.

Oh my GOD. I hate to criticize such a beautiful car, but that's the ugliest cloth I've seen in my life!!

I'm hoping it looks better in person, or else I might have to get the leather.

I think it's kind of reflective, and the flash from the camera makes it more dominant that it really is. At least, that's what I'm hoping.

Cloth seats are ugly tree material. Lets hope they do not hit every branch on the way down. :notnice:

Leather is the only option if those cloth seats use what looks to be a cheap print. :notnice:

Hey, like some other things on the Mustang, I think the patterned cloth is so different it's -- dare I say it -- pretty cool.

Also, I think all leather seating surfaces should come in the Mach 1 perforated style for better air flow on hot, HOT days when leather is a nuisance.

Good observation! I hadn't noticed that before. Too bad really. I want mine to be blacked out (black ext, black int), but I prefer the retro stitching in the red seats. Hmmmm.
