That was a wise choice ..Most States will ticket you except some over here because of the sun being so hot. California has a limit on how dark on the driver side and passenger side windows.. They say it is a hazard at night.

Ordered an axle back. Hope it's not too loud! Going to put it on as soon as possible. Had to get the black tips to go with my black theme.
The reviews say it'll wake the neighbors. As long as it doesn't wake the wife I should be good!

I have left my 2007 Vert stock because I didn't want more sound with the top down.
If you want the loud, I hope the deletes make you happy!

Those may be just fine with the resonators to quiet things down a little. But, my guess is she is going to be heard when you start 'er up.
I went with the FR500S Ford Performance axle backs on my '06 GT Coupe. I've been very happy with the sound.

It looks good spree. I got luck when I installed my exhaust. Everything kinda fell in place, and didn't need any adjustments. I glad too. Like you after the job was finished it was time to give the old back a rest.
Enjoy the car. These little things run forever if they were taken care of, and it looks like yours was. I bought mine with 89K on it for a project. Like yours it was unmolested. After changing the fluids, gas filter, belt, plugs, and brakes the thing has just run right along. It's got right at 98K, and runs smooth as silk. I enjoy driving it as much as I do driving the brides '18 GT.

Looking good Spree!
Good luck with the muffler deletes. A lot of folks here (when the 05-09 gen was new) went with SLP Loudmouth muffler deletes - ran them for 6 months or so and then dumped them for excessive drone. From what was said at the time the drone at highway speeds would loosen the fillings in your teeth. I hope the Pypes you have will do better.
RE: your taillights. I strongly recommend NOT tinting the stock lights and rather go with the smoked Vector lights (2015+ style):

Or go with the Gen 5 (2013-14 style)

Tinting your stock lights is dangerous IMO - you are reducing the amount of light that can be seen by the guy tailgating you and are increasing your chances of getting rear ended. They'll then tell the cops that your "illegally modified" taillights were the cause of the accident and maybe you'll be held responsible for the crash. If you use the smoked lights above, they are DOT approved and put out a lot of LED light - they are really bright! Bonus points for also not having crappy 3157 bulbs that constantly burn out (look at any of our gen 'Stangs running around and you'll quickly see half or more of their taillights are burned out).
All this is my $0.02 coming from one black convertible 'Stang owner to another. Sweet ride and good luck!
