Custom Painted Plenum Covers
Our painter got a little creative the other day and painted a couple of our plenum covers with "real fire" flame graphics on them. We have put one of the covers up in an eBay auction. The one on auction now is Ebony with orange and red flames. The other cover is Satin Silver with blue, gray and white flames, this one will be going up on auction tonight.
These covers have our regular base coat/clear coat paint with the flames airbrushed over the top and then 2 coats of clear coat over the whole thing. The depth on these covers is stunning.
OK, I am done with our shameless plug, here's the link to the Ebony one:

So, I have to know, is the winning bid of $2550.00 for real and is the winner really going to pay that much for this item? Nothing agaist the artist that did it, but that price seems a bit execesive, and a bit too rich for my blood.
No it didn't really sell for that amount. Someone was playing games. :bang: That's why we took the other auction down as well. I don't know if we will put them back up or sell them on our web site. Stay tuned.

Here's a picture of another custom cover our painter did this week.

This is my favorite so far. We are not sure if we are going to put it up on eBay or keep it.
