Just an FYI update on when cars will be built. I had a GT allocated this week, on Friday. The car received a vin # on Friday and today showed a build week date of 10/18. This should give you an idea of what the build schedule is, as this timing should be pretty universal.

Just because it's built doesn't mean I have it. I wish Should come early October if that is the case.

Hey kev...that one's done? What does IN TRANSIT mean? Is it already en route?

 

I stopped in my dealer today. He gave me my order printout with prices and a Ford Newspaper with a nice article on the Mustang in it. He also said he knows for sure I'll be getting a build date Monday. How he knows, I didn't ask. But that's what he said.

 

Kevin, I am not sure but is this print out from you dealer's internal computer, Reynolds or ADP? I think it is just classified as in transit by your dealership.
It does say:

MFR STAT SUB TO PLANT SCHED DATE 09/20/2004 STAT DATE 08/03/2004

I could be wrong, but I don't think this car is built yet.

 

Went to the dealership last week to get my build-date and whatdya know... ITS ALREADY BUILT. on the status sheet mine said PRODUCED not "IN-TRANSIT" so i dont think that the one kevin is referring to is completly produced yet but very close for sure.

 

I am kinda thinking MAYBE tomorrow 9/20 they will be in transit. Mine is built also. Ship date TBD.
