If you are going to contemplate a purchase in the second year of production what additional features would look for? I would like heated seats. If they can put them in a Focus, why not. I would like a moonroof like in the Probe, that was produced in the same factory. How about you, what feasible options would you like ?

I'd don't think many more options are going to show up on the car, but if we're dreaming, HID lights would be nice.

I remember reading a post from another member putting heated seats in there 2005, installed by dealer for around $400.00.

We have had this discussion several times in the past, don't expect any of those type of options unless Ford comes out with a Mercury based on the Mustang (i.e. Nissan 350Z vs. Infiniti G35 Coupe)

I would like to have auto headlights and battery saver if it does not have one. Never have checked that out.

I actually like the fact they are manual headlights, that way I can turn them off if needed when it is dark.

If I could dream a bit I would like the Mustang to be built 100% in USA. They did it in the 60's why not now?

Because American labor is more expensive, it can be done, you just would have to pay more that $25k for a GT.

I'm with Bill; I would have liked auto headlights (which can also be turned on/off manually).

I'm probably pushing it, but I'd also add heated side rearview mirrors, electronic climate control and outside temperature display.

These are all items that are available on the Focus, so really no excuse for them not to eventually find their way onto some mustang.

Since we are dreaming....

XM/Sirius, memory driver's seat, and an interior trunk release

I am not wild about automatic climate control, I never seam to be able to stabilize the temperature where I want it.

How about self cleaning carpets

What ever happened to the pocket on the back of the seat?

I was disappointed that memory driver's seat wasn't available, at first. Then I figured it out! They probably had me in mind in deciding that it didn't need to be an option because I won't even let anyone sit in the driver's seat much less drive it.

Could be wrong but I think they may have meant interior trunk release.

For me it would be: heated seats, remoste start, seat memory, remoste window down an ALL models, IUP w. MY Color , embordered floormats (like the 40th) & seats (like my 03), more color choices (both interior & exterior), a cd player that isn't possessed, & , &, &, &, &, & I can't think of anything else. Maybe later I will but right now that's all I've got.

Cheermates

Yes Please! Let's get the current options produced first before we get carried away with new ones!
