Which is easier:
getting it WITH the spoiler and removing it later or getting it WITHOUT the spoiler and adding one later?

I ordered mine with.

no spoiler...easier to modify later if you change your mind. Ducktail is the way to go on the 05, IMO

No spoiler! We ordered our Black GT w/o. My GM is a pretty big car buff, and originally Hated the car without the spoiler, but a few weeks later when my fiance dropped me off at work, he said he decided he liked it w/o the spoiler. Most people are just used to a GT having a spoiler, so they think it's SUPPOSED to have one, when actually the lines of the car are much better with no spoiler, IMHO!

GTs look alot better w/o a spoiler because of it's double exhaust and rear shape.

As for v6s.... a spoiler will add alot more definition to it's rear.

I cannot decide. I may go order Friday, so I need to make up my mind soon!! Convince me...please!!
Well, if you don't know by now, flip a coin. There are strong arguments and opinions on both sides. There's no right or wrong, just personal preferences. What would you prefer? Make a decision and just learn to live with it.

Hey There,

I like the look of the spoiler, but it does impair the rearview mirror view a bit, and it's kind of a hassle when it comes to washing the trunk lid.

I think he's dead. He's only posted on these boards twice, including the one on the thread he started here!

My vote is WITH spoiler. I personally don't like the look of the rear w/o the spoiler, and neither does my wife. However, the ducktail looks great, and I would lean in that direction (which would then be easier w/o the spoiler).

It will be your car, do what you like.

I am tired of all this talk about the spoiler taking away from the retro theme, my favorite Mustang of all time has a spoiler.

Some of the GREATEST Mustangs of All Time Had Spoilers! So how is Not having a Spoiler in Keeping with the Retro theme of the 05?

Man did this guy hit the nail right on the head, great pics, that will be the theme I will be using if Ford ever gets around to building my car...with the spoiler of course! Just take it off, paint it black, reinstall, almost a free MOD and with no x-tra holes drill in your new STANG!
